Clearing Browing Data
Clearing your browsing data can come in handy if you're experiencing issues while browsing the internet. Some of these issues may involve web pages aren't loading correctly or you're having issues logging in somewhere. This will be a good start.
It can also be used to clear out any private data, and to keep you safe.
Every website you go to will download a small file to your computer called a cookie. In this file it can store any website preferences, usernames and passwords, as well as where you have gone on the website.
All website you visit will also cache a small amount of the website on your computer. This is so the next time you visit the website it will load much quicker than it did the first time. This does have it's draw backs however. The biggest draw back is for those who are making adjustments to their website, such as adding images, adding web pages, or even changing some of the background functions like the DNS entries of the domain.
This issues are very common when you are move website providers.
All these issues can typically be resolved by simply clearing your broswer data.

If this is the first time you are clearing your browser data, by default Chrome will select the Basic tab
However, we will change to the Advanced tab, in order to get more granular controller on what we are removing.
The first setting on the Advanced tab we will be changing is the Time Range.
By Default Chrome will select Last 24 Hours. This is fine if all you want to do is clear your browsing history for the last day. However, most will only clear their browsing data every once in a while, or possibly only when an issue comes up.
For that reason we will adjust the Time Range to the following.
All Time
Once the Time Range has been set, we can begin selecting what data for the browser we would like clear.
The following options are what I would recommend most people clear
Browsing History
Download History
Cookies and Other Site Data
Cached Images and Files
Site Settings
Hosted App Data

Be careful not to select the following options or you may have a very day.
Passwords and Other Sign-In Data
Autofill Form Data
Clearing the above options will delete all your passwords and any addresses you have previously saved inside Chrome. For many Chrome is the only password safe they have. This means if you do not remember your passwords you will be locked out of your accounts.
Once you have selected the correct options hit Clear Data
