Hallmark Printers Setup on a Windows Computer

At Re/Max Hallmark we use something called print queue.

This print queue is used to resolve 2 issues.

The first one is to provide us with accountability of who is using the printer supplies such as Ink and Paper.

The second issue that is resolved using the print queue is being able to print a single printer and be able to release the print job from any printer in the company.

This however, also brings some challenges when it comes to installing the printer on individuals computers.

Connecting to the Print Server

To begin installing the Hallmark Printers open File Explorer.

!File Explorer and Internet Explorer are NOT the same!

This should be a long your lower task bar.

If you do not have this Icon along your task bar you can hit select the start button

Then without clicking anything else, type File Explorer

This will automatically begin searching your computer for the File Explorer application

You can then Select File Explorer

Now that we have File Explorer open, we will need to enter the Print Server Address in the address bar.

To do this select the Address Bar.

Once the Address Bar is selected enter the following:

\\10.100.100.16

Then press Enter

You will then be prompted to enter your Username and Password.

These credentials would have been provided to you during your onboarding process. These credentials are used anytime you sign in to a Bullpen Computer, or a Client Room Computer.

If you are installing the printers for your Unlicensed Administrator, you must use the Username and Password of the Team Leader

Let's begin by entering the Username.

You MUST begin the Username with Bizfitsolutions. Below is an example of a Username

Bizfitsolutions\JDoe

You can then enter your password DO NOT press Enter

!Attention DO NOT miss this step!

Once you've entered your Username and Password, do NOT forget to select the Remember My Credentials button

If you do not do this step and you restart your computer or leave the office and come back, you will NOT BE ABLE TO PRINT 

If you enter the Wrong Password you MUST reselect the Remember My Credentials box

Once your credentials have been entered and you have selected the Remember My Credentails button, you can select OK or press Enter

If you previously installed the printers however forgot to save your credentials. Your printing will now function again. You do not need to continue with this guide.

Installing the Printers

You will now be presented with a window that has a few options on it.

We will be looking to setup Printers

Hallmark-Printers
Hallmark-Printers-Color

To do so begin by using your mouse to Right-Click on one of the printers

This will present you a small dialogue box with options

Select the following:

Connect

The server will then install the printer and the drivers required to use the printer.

Perform the same steps for Hallmark-Printers-Color and you will be able to print to any printer in the entire company.

Printing to Hallmark Printers

Once the printers have been installed in order to print from them you will simply select one of the following based the criteria.

Require color printing. Use the following Printer.

Hallmark-Printers-Color

Require black and white printing. Use the following Printer.
